Blair Cadell have been brilliant on both a sale and purchase of a house. The whole team were very professional with a special shout out to Adele and Natasha, emphasised the professional nature of the company.

James Taylor 29 September 2026

Blair Cadell was responsible for getting me settled into a new house in Edinburgh and have gone above and beyond in getting sure that everything is sorted in terms of what is needed for the place. Some standout actions that Blair Cadell have taken include: - Recommending the right mortgage advisor for the flat, who have also been helpful in providing the best knowledge and actions to make my flat move as positive and stress-free as possible. - Giving the best recommendations on amounts to bid for my new property while giving me the breathing space I have needed to consider the best option. - Getting the purchase documentation ready for me based on taking necessary steps including offering best advice/elaboration on what I am required to provide, and chasing up other services involved in the sales of property. Overall, Blair Cadell has been more than effective in the property purchase process. I give my thanks to the staff I have worked with and I would very gladly recommend them if you are looking for a solicitor to help with a properly purchase in Edinburgh.

We can't recommend the Blair Caddell team enough for their in depth experience, professionalism and expertise which helped to guide us through each stage of a successful Edinburgh sale and purchase. Blair Caddell's expert valuation, high quality photography, well presented marketing materials and conveyancing expertise helped to support us to a closing date and sale in under two weeks, and a successful purchase and settlement. We really appreciated the very friendly, responsive and highly personalised service together with their depth of experience and knowledge in both the local and wider market. From the first moment to the last minute, we felt we were in very safe hands with Blair Cadell, many thanks!

The team at Blair Cadell helped us through the sale of our home recently and they were fantastic, even when things didn’t go to plan with our onward move they were encouraging and reassuring and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them for a purchase in future. The marketing material they put together for our property was particularly excellent and secured a sale quickly and in our experience the team have been caring, honest and friendly, explaining anything we didn’t understand and guiding us through the process at every step. thanks Blair Cadell!

It was an absolute pleasure working with Blair Cadell on the purchase of our flat. Jamie Sole was a great help at the start, guiding us to a strong offer with only a day to pull it together when our original negotiator fell through. Keri Vanderburg-Sole, our solicitor, was outstanding throughout—clear, responsive, and a warm, reassuring presence from start to finish, with Adele providing valuable support on the legal side and Rory stepping in on short notice to handle our wills. The entire Blair Cadell team made what is often a stressful process feel smooth, seamless, and well handled.

We went with Blair Cadell for our property sale and purchase and couldn't be more happy with the job they've done. We were working with Adele mostly, with Keri covering when Adele was unavailable; their advice, support, and willingness to dive into the details was truly fantastic. Issues arising on the sellers side made our purchase more complex than expected and they handled it expertly, communicating often, and investigating situations and options to achieve what we hoped for from the purchase. I'd recommend them to anyone, and would definitely use them in the future should we have any need.
