Andrew Macdonald, Managing Partner

A partner since 1988, specialising in Property and Business Law and Managing Partner of the Firm since 2000.  Andrew heads up the Property Department and has a specialist interest in commercial property, security work and leasing.  He is involved in the strategic planning for the business.

Susan Masterton, Partner

Susan joined from Pearsons solicitors in 1999. Susan brings her thorough going skills to the firm’s busy Private Client department.  Susan has wide-ranging experience in areas including charities, elderly care, trusts and Inheritance Tax planning, as well as commercial leasing.

Donald Jardine, Partner

Donald became a partner in 2009. He works primarily in the Private Client Department, dealing with wills, trusts and executries, but also has extensive experience with residential property and commercial leasing. Clients appreciate his meticulous approach and reassuring manner. Donald teaches part-time at the Univeristy of Edinburgh, tutoring graduates undertaking the Diploma in Legal Practice in the law and skills necessary for Private Client work.

Jacquie Macdonald, Head, Corporate Development

Jacquie acquired a wealth of experience in both sales and management training in many different areas of industry before joining Blair Cadell in 1997.  Jacquie is focussed on the delivery and development of the firm’s professional estate agency activities, as well as marketing and human resource management as a member of the management team.

William Reid, Consultant

Bill joined the firm in 1970, and retired in 2009.  His many years of professional experience bring inestimable value to the Private Client Department, particularly in the areas of property, wills, trusts and estates.

Robyn Lowe, Residential Conveyancing Legal Executive

Robyn is an experienced legal executive, well-known within the residential property community.  Robyn’s 'can do' attitude and no-nonsense approach has enabled many satisfied clients to achieve their requirements and beyond.  Robyn is a key member of the Property team, also assisting with the continual development of the firm’s IT systems.

Robin Davie, Property Sales Manager

Robin has been the premier face of the firm’s well established professional estate agency service since 1997.  He has extensive experience in property sales and management, and is always on hand to give valuable advice and guidance to clients looking to buy or sell their home or investment property.

Bobby Harvey, Private Client Legal Executive

Bobby has a wealth of knowledge in the private client field with extensive legal experience gained from practices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Fife.  Bobby's thorough and empathetic approach is invaluable for clients at often challenging times.  Bobby contributes enthusiastically to the running of the Private Client team.

Marilyn Stewart, Property Sales Assistant

Marilyn has wide experience in residential property sales both north and south of the border.  Her skill, knowledge and wise advice has guided many satisfied estate agency clients through  the buying and selling process with the minimum of stress.
